This Privacy Policy describes how Denis Sviridov ("Developer", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the ColorWave mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2.1. Account Data
- Email address — required for registration and authentication
- Password — stored in hashed form; we never have access to your plain-text password
- Display name — optional, set by you
- Nickname — optional, unique username
- Country — optional, self-declared by you
- Profile photo (avatar) — optional, uploaded by you
2.2. Content You Create
- Book library — coloring books you add to your collection
- Page progress — page status, time spent, notes, completion dates
- Photos of coloring pages — images you upload (before, in-progress, after, palette)
- Color markers — tool brands, color names, and color codes you log
- Tags — categories and themes you assign to pages
- Gallery posts — photos and captions you choose to share in the community gallery
- Reactions and favorites — your interactions with gallery posts
- Wishlist — books you add to your wishlist
2.3. Technical Data
- Device language — detected automatically to set the App language
- App version — sent when you submit feedback
- Push notification token — if you enable notifications
- Network status — online/offline detection (used locally, not transmitted)
2.4. User Communications
- Feedback messages — text and optional screenshot attachments you submit through the App
- Book requests — ISBN, title, and author of books you request to add
- Post reports — reasons you provide when reporting inappropriate content
2.5. Data We Do NOT Collect
- GPS or precise location data
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA, GAID)
- Contacts, calendar, or biometric data
- Payment or financial data
- Browsing history
- Device fingerprinting data

These services may process data in the United States. Where applicable, data transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored on Supabase cloud infrastructure.
- Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted device storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) via Expo SecureStore.
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
- Photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access controls.
- We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
6. Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
- When you delete your account, your books, pages, photos, and associated data are permanently deleted.
- Cached data on your device is cleared when you sign out.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — delete your account and all associated data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format
- Withdraw consent — revoke consent at any time (e.g., disable notifications in device settings)
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Restrict processing — request limitation of processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Camera and Photo Library
The App requests access to your device camera and photo library for the following purposes:
- Camera — to scan ISBN barcodes and take photos of your coloring pages
- Photo Library — to select existing photos of your coloring pages
These permissions are optional. You can deny or revoke them in your device settings at any time. The App does not save photos to your device's photo library.
9. Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we collect a device push token to send you updates about wishlisted book releases. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or during the App onboarding.
10. Community Gallery
When you share a post to the community gallery, the following becomes visible to other authenticated users: your photo, caption, display name, nickname, and the book title. You can remove your gallery posts at any time.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Cookies and Tracking
The App does not use cookies, web beacons, or any analytics or advertising trackers. We do not engage in cross-app or cross-site tracking.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. The "Effective date" at the top indicates the latest revision.
