Consent to Personal Data Processing

By creating an account in the ColorWave mobile application ("App"), you provide your informed, voluntary, and explicit consent to the processing of your personal data by Denis Sviridov ("Developer", "Data Controller") under the conditions described below and in our Privacy Policy.

2. Categories of Personal Data
By using the App, you consent to the processing of the following categories of personal data:
2.1. Data you provide directly
- Email address (required for registration)
- Display name and nickname (optional)
- Country (optional, self-declared)
- Profile photo (optional)
- Photos of coloring pages you upload
- Text content: notes, captions, feedback messages, book requests
- Color markers: tool brands, color names, and color codes
- Tags and categories you assign
2.2. Data collected automatically
- Device language (for localization)
- Push notification token (if you enable notifications)
- App version (when submitting feedback)
3. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Account management — creating and maintaining your user account, authentication
- Core functionality — storing your coloring book library, tracking page progress, managing photos and color markers
- Community features — displaying your shared posts in the gallery, enabling reactions and favorites, maintaining block and report lists
- Notifications — sending push notifications about wishlisted book releases (only with your consent)
- User support — processing your feedback, bug reports, and book requests
- Content moderation — reviewing reported content to maintain community safety

5. Data Recipients
Your personal data may be shared with the following third-party service providers acting as data processors:
- Supabase Inc. (USA) — cloud infrastructure, database, authentication, file storage
- Expo / 650 Industries (USA) — push notification delivery
- Google LLC (USA) — book search by ISBN (no personal data is transmitted, only search queries)
Data may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Data Retention
- Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
- Upon account deletion, all personal data (books, pages, photos, markers, tags, gallery posts) is permanently removed.
- Anonymized or aggregated data (e.g., total number of users) may be retained for statistical purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data and receive a copy of it
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") by deleting your account
- Restrict the processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal

8. Withdrawal of Consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
You can withdraw consent by:
- Deleting your account — through the App settings, which permanently deletes all your data
- Disabling notifications — through your device settings to stop push notifications
- Removing gallery posts — deleting individual community gallery publications
- Contacting us — sending a request to welcome@colorwave.cc
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:
- Encrypted storage of authentication credentials (device keychain)
- Password hashing (passwords are never stored in plain text)
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Access controls on file storage
10. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or the place where the alleged infringement occurred.
11. Voluntary Nature of Consent
Providing personal data and giving consent is voluntary. However, certain data (email address and password) is required to create an account and use the core features of the App. Without this data, account creation is not possible.
12. Changes to This Document
We may update this consent document to reflect changes in our data processing practices. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
